Last night over dinner Jackson announced they were going to have cupcakes at school the next day for Valentine's Day. Nick corrected him and told him that Valentine's Day was Monday. Jackson turned to me to ask me and said Mrs. Maria (his teacher) said they were having cupcakes the next day and I too told him Valentine's Day had passed but maybe they were having cupcakes for another celebration or a birthday. He quickly got frustrated and looked back and forth from Nick to me and very adamantly stated the following:
"Mrs. Maria said we were having cupcakes for Valentine's Day and Mrs. Maria speaks the truth!"
As funny as it was, it was also a realization that Jackson no longer thought his Mommy and Daddy knew everything...apparently now only Mrs. Maria does, ha!
