Is whining better than crying?

YES! I was a little nervous driving Jackson to school this morning since he hadn't been there since Thursday but he did great. Today was the first day he didn't cry and scream "No Mommy" over and over again as we walked into his classroom. He just stood beside me...okay he was more ON me than beside me, but very quiet. As I hugged and kissed him, he started whining but in this situation I'll take whining any day! Hopefully tomorrow or in a few days, the whining will be gone too and he will just walk into class happily and wave goodbye to me...a mom can hope right?
